Dr. Asavari Karani is an MBBS from the prestigious Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital in Mumbai. She cleared her entrance exams in the first attempt to bag a MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in the IGGMC Government Medical College in Nagpur where she honed her surgical and clinical skills. She passed out with honors as the district topper. She further went on to win laurels as a double gold medallist in her DGO;DFP exams. She firmly believes that learning should never stop and went on to do fellowships in Laparoscopic surgery, Ultrasonography and Infertility & IVF. She is also a Fellow of Indian Congress of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (FICOG) and a published author with several papers to her credit. She is a member of NMOGS, NOGS, FOGSI and regularly attends conferences and seminars to keep herself updated on the latest guidelines. She is also a firm believer in empowering women about their health and is a part of various platforms like Newmi , Mamily etc. along with being active on social media platforms. She is an expert in infertility and high risk pregnancies.

She is a cheerful and lively person. One of the many things I like about her is that she is a keen listener. Hence she will not make any assumptions of your illness unless there is solid proof of it.She is very cautious and protective of her patients and feels like it is her responsibility to treat them better and faster. This is a very rare quality because nowadays you will find many doctors who will do the job just for the sake of doing it.
